Porter-Cable Belt Sander, Vertical, or horizontal 44-B9

I bought this old sander at auction, and there was no manual with it. The aluminum idler drum is so badly worn, it would be impossible to keep a belt on. I intend to make a new idler for it, but need to know what size it was originally. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
