I also have a problem with 47065 air compressor, which is shutting off when in use. I can press the reset switch and it runs again for a little while (and then shuts off again). Any suggestions?

Did you find the answer to the compressor's problem. I have the same issue with mine.

47065 compressor shutting off

alinbuckeye,
Not 100% sure yet, but might have fixed my 47065 compressor. At first, I thought maybe the motor was overloading or getting too hot, but it didn't seem to be.
So, I decided to try to unplug the breaker/overload switch on the side of the compressor. When I pulled on the two wires slightly, the wires pulled out from the spade terminal connectors (seems like they were not crimped on very good). I then noticed the spade connectors were soldered to the overload switch. So, I used a small screwdriver to pry open the ends of the spade terminal connectors and re-crimped the wires back into those ends. Now, when I run the compressor, it does not shut off. Could it have been poor connections to the overload switch? I am not 100% sure yet, but I ran it for about 20-30 minutes this morning, with no shut-off problems. Before, it would randomly shut off within a few minutes, time after time.
I will post another message, if it starts acting up again.
