I am using my recharger for the first time for my new Nikon Coolpix camera. does the green stay on or turn off when fully charged?

i have this same charger and the manual which says, 'there are 2 green LEDs on your charger to indicate when batteries are charging.' but nothing else to indicate that the green LEDs change color or go off when batteries are fully charged. I charged 4 new AA batteries for days straight with no change in the Green LED status so I think Energizer just cheaped out on this feedback feature. Weak! Their website for this product is pretty useless and silent on this issue. http://data.energizer.com/PDFs/chvc2.pdf

Energizer Charger CHVC2

I purchased this crap. It does not show any LED indication at all. Not sure whether the batteries are getting charged
