I purchased a the above item for my husband, who is a union
carpenter,he owns mainly Dewalt tools.I felt the Ryobi was a good price....
Today he was using the grinder and the adjustable shelf just snapped off and hit him right in the chest.
He commented "see this is why you purchase Dewalt" He was amazed that the part was constructed of "cast aluminum" and
not steal like the rest of the machine. Please help me restore his confidence in me and Ryobi by sending him a new shelf (the left one) at
no cost!!!!!
Is it unusual for this part to snap?? Why is it made out
of aluminum??? Is there a steal replacement shelf???
Thank you in advance for your concern and help.
I'm just glad he only has a welt on his chest and he wasn't hurt worse.
