NSTALLATION

NSTRUCTIONS
1. Unpack the Total Access BBU and inspect for damage. If damage is
apparent, refer to your carrier or supplier for remedy.
2. The BBU must be mounted with the following minimum clearance:
Top — 1”
Bottom — 3”
Left Side — 1”
Right Side — 10”
3. Using the template provided, mark and drill three pilot holes using a
size I (0.228" Dia.) drill bit.
4. Insert 1/4” x 3/4” pan-head wood screws (supplied) into the three pilot
holes, leaving 1/8” space between the screw-head and the plywood.
5. With an assistant, mount the battery box on the three support screws on
the plywood.
6. Connect the Battery Backup Unit to the Total Access 750 or 850 as shown in
the connection illustration above. Use cable tie-downs as appropriate.

The equipment grounding conductor is to be connected to ground at the service
equipment at all times. Bare, covered, or insulated grounding conductors are
acceptable.
