SoloXP
Series Li-Ion Battery charger for
Digital cameras and Video Camcorders
PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION AND FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE USING
THIS PRODUCT.
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the SoloXP travel charger. The SoloXP charger with the appropriate adapter
plate is a fully automatic battery charger which is compatible with virtually all 3.6 – 8.4 Volt Lithium-
Ion batteries for camcorders and digital cameras from Sony, Canon, JVC, Panasonic, Nikon, Kodak,
FujiFilm, Sharp, RCA and other manufacturers. This charger uses a variety of adapter plates to make it
compatible with existing batteries as well as batteries that will be developed into the future. Visit
www.lenmar.com/SoloXP for up to date adapter plate compatibility list.
The SoloXP charger uses digital microprocessor technology to provide a safe, full charge every time.
Charging status is provided by the built-in 2-color LED indicator. In addition, the SoloXP has an
integrated USB Port so it can also provide the power to recharge your PDA, cell phone, MP3 player,
handheld game, or any other device that can be charged from a USB port (compatible cables not
included).
Charging
Attach the adapter plate for the specific battery you will be charging.
Removing the Adapter Plate
To change the adapter plate you want attached, you will need to remove the adapter plate first by
pushing down on the plate and applying firm pressure to slide it away to the right of the charger base.
Then, attach the selected adapter plate to the charger unit by placing the adapter plate onto the
charger, aligning the pointer on the adapter plate to the pointer on the charger base. While pressing
down on the adapter plate, slide the plate firmly to the left on the charger base until it stops.
See diagram below.
USB Power
The USB charging port on this unit may be used with any USB compatible device that is used with
“Charge” or “Charge / Sync” USB cables and will provide power via that cable to the device allowing
it to charge itself. The USB port is available for use at any time while the SoloXP charger is plugged
into an AC outlet. While the SoloXP charger is plugged into AC power, simply connect your USB
cable to your device and then plug into the USB port on the side of the SoloXP. At this time the
device will indicate that it is receiving power and charging its internal battery.
You may simultaneously charge your digital camera or camcorder while powering/charging
another device thru the USB. This will not effect the battery charge time.
Trouble Shooting Tips
• If the LED status indicator does not light up when the charger is plugged into AC
power, check to make sure that the AC outlet has power.
• If the battery is attached, and the status indicator does not show charging, the
battery contacts may not be properly connecting to the adapter plate. Unplug the
unit and check connection of the battery to the adapter plate. Also, make sure
the adapter plate is the proper one and that it is securely attached to the charger.
• Use a clean dry cloth when necessary to keep the metal contacts of both charger
and battery clean.

Cautions
• For use with 3.6 – 8.4V Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) batteries ONLY! Use with other type
batteries voids warranty, may cause damage to the charger/ battery and possibly
cause injury to the user.
• Do not leave a battery connected to the charger when it is not plugged into AC
power.
• For best battery life, we suggest recharging Li-Ion batteries after use and before
being put away.
• Do not leave the battery connected to the charger for prolonged periods. Remove
the battery after charge is complete.
• Unplug the charger from AC power when not in use.
• Indoor use only. Do not use, place or store the charger where it may come into
contact with water or moisture.
• No user serviceable parts, opening chassis will void warranty.
The indicator LED will also be Green if the SoloXP is plugged into AC power without a battery
installed. Once the charge is complete, we recommend that you unplug the charger from AC power
and remove the battery from the charger.
Install the battery to be charged onto the adapter plate. Flip down the AC plug on the rear of the
charger and plug into AC outlet. The LED charge indicator on the top of the unit will turn Red to
indicate that the battery is being charged. Once the charge is complete, the indicator LED will turn
Green.
