Your RadioShack 13.8 VDC 15-Amp Regulated
Power Supply is designed to power equipment
that requires 12V DC automotive power. The power
supply converts standard 120V AC household
power to 13.8V DC power and can supply up to 15
amps of continuous power.
Press POWER to turn on the power supply. If POWER
does not light:
• Check your connections and confirm the AC
outlet has power.
• If the outlet has power, turn off the power
supply and reduce the load (use a device that
requires 13.8V DC or less). Press POWER.
Your power supply’s overload protection circuit
automatically shuts down the power supply when
it becomes overloaded. It resets when you turn off
the power supply.

the manufacturer’s mounting instructions, and use a recommended mounting
accessory.
Ventilation
— Slots and openings in the cabinet provide ventilation, ensure
reliable operation, and protect from overheating. Do not block or cover these
openings, and do not place the appliance on a bed, sofa, rug, or other similar
surface. Do not place the appliance in a built-in installation such as a bookcase
or rack unless it provides proper ventilation as specified by the manufacturer.
Heat — The appliance should be situated away from heat sources such as
radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other appliances that produce heat.
Power Sources
— Use this appliance with the power source indicated on its
marking label. If you are not sure of your home’s power type, consult your
appliance dealer or local power company.
Grounding or Polarization — This appliance is equipped with a three-wire
grounding-type plug, a plug having a third (grounding) pin. This plug will only fit
into a grounding-type power outlet. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to
insert the plug into the outlet, contact your electrician to replace your obsolete
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the grounding-type plug.
Power-Cord Protection — Route power-supply cords so they are not likely to
