this is a B & D smart battery charger 2,4,6 amp. would like to know what it means when the fault light goes on when I try to select the amp I want to charge at

5 it means you also got suckered by the Black and Decker Hype. this "Smart Charger" is just a piece of Crap. of the 3 battery's I've used it on, (All Motorcycle) it charged a total of "0". Oh but it did successfully blow one up, if that's what Blank and Decker is trying to do the it works great 33% of the time.

1 Oh and buy the way, the Fault light means that the battery is bad. Unchargable. Good lick finding a battery it will work on.
