Question About Black & Decker Saw 7308 - type 7
PDF Manual...

I've borrowed a circular saw from a friend and he doesn't remember any sort of wrench for use when changing the blade. Is there a switch or button to lock the blade in place?

5 Use a 1/2 inch wrench. To remove blade. Place screwdriver shaft through blade teeth to prevent it from turning. To install blade: Use towel or rag to hold blade with hand. No need to over tighten the bolt. Note: The gard must be turned back to actually remove/ replace the blade.
