When I turn on my model 106.154781 air compressor,...

When I turn on my model 106.154781 air compressor, it throws the breaker in about 5 seconds. I am using a 110 plug and receptacle. If I look into the cracks on the motor, a green flash flashes several times for the duration of run time then the breaker is thrown.
