Question About Craftsman Air Compressor 921-166380
Will not build up pressure...

The check valve is OK. Is there possibly a leak in the gasket below the valve assembly that only lets the pressure build up to about 20#?

0 Are you absolutely sure the water drain valve in the bottom of the tank is clowsed tightly...? I cannot remember how many times I have opened my valve and left it open to drain all moisture out of the tank, then came back later and forgot to close it before firing it up the next time... most of time I could not hear the hissing because the motor is so loud...
