The 14.4 V NiCd charger for my Craftsman cordless ...

The 14.4 V NiCd charger for my Craftsman cordless drill, got inadvertently thrown out. This appears to be an obsolete product line. Can the Craftsman 911 041 Universal Battery Charger be used for the now-obsolete 14.4 NiCd batteries?
