Question About Craftsman Impact Driver 310.26825
craftsman impact wrench...

the sockets won't stay on the wrench, is there a trick to keeping them on my model number is 875.199830 can't find any information on this model

5 This is a very common problem with ALL impact guns that use the circle clip style retainer on the shaft. Every one I have ever owned or used does this, and yes it is VERY aggravating. One trick I use, is to buy a short stubby extention with a push button retainer in it, then expoy the extention onto the gun permanently. Make sure all grease and oil is very clean from both ends before JB welding expoxy the two together. Walla... no more dropped sockets. Jim
