How do I pull apart part no.5 on the diagram (drive pully) from no.67 (shaft)? If you could help me I would be very grateful Thank you James Hodges

0 Hi Jim, Don't know if you have figured out how to do that by now but what I did was to use a set of vise grips to clamp on the outside end of the rubber pulley (item 51) to hold it firm against the sander housing stopping it's rotation. Then I was able to unscrew that item #5 pulley counter-clockwise. It has a 1/4-20 R.H. thread bore. (Do you still have the sander and manual yet?)
