how do I keep the belt from coming off the 3x21-in...

how do I keep the belt from coming off the 3x21-inch belt sander? Have never used one of these before.

5 Adjust the knob on the side of the sander so the belt tracks essentially over the bottom plate. Often they will wander, so it is a matter of almost constant correction. The smaller belts seem more prone to wander than longer wider belts to some degree.
