0 What an atrocity this guy is - I think after 25 years I'm going to get a unit with a legitimate lever release. The manual says "Insert a screwdriver into slot on idler pulley yoke and apply backward pressure. The pulley will snap back into operating position." In reality, just wedge in an old screwdriver and fiddle with the yoke. Eventually it will snap out of the locked "put on belt" position. Sorry, I only have the hard-copy of the manual.

0 The only manual I need is the one for the sander I have. Nothing else fits. Again the model no. is:351-22676 for a 5" disc with a 30" belt . Thank you.

0 Your post came up when I did a search for the one I own, and I thus answered it. I wonder if my response somehow ended up associated with a completely different model and, in fact, type of product. Obviously I was referring to a hand-held belt sander, not your nifty disk/belt bench unit. Sorry to look like an idiot - the enquiry I attempted to answer really was for my exact product.

0 Thanks for the response. I can't believe Sears is unable to identify this particular model. I believe I have the only one ever made!!!! And they actually did " throw away the book". What a deal.
