bandsaw model 119.224000. blade tensioner know does not move the tensioner carriage and thus the upper pulley. it is stuck and has been that way since new and has been running this at the original tension. the blade cannot be removed.

5 Spray down tentioner carriage generously with penetrating oil. cut old blade band off with metal cutting shears or hand held hack saw this should remove the tention from tentioner pulley system. Tghe combination of the penetrating oil and tention being removed should help the part begin to move freely. you may have to let oil set in on parts over night.
