Question About Craftsman Saw 113.197601 Radial Arm Saw
Saw buzzes without turning...

I replaced the capacitor. Running winding is 1 ohm, start winding is 11 ohms. The blade turns smoothly with power off, but won't turn with power on. 11 ohm start coil is in series with capacitor and the series pair is in parallel with the 1 ohm running winding. This model has no centrifical starter switch. Could the rotor be burned out?
