I have a Delta Model # 28-276 bandsaw, it starts ...

I have a Delta Model # 28-276 bandsaw, it starts fine but when I feed a 1" block of pine into the blade the motor speed slows down stalls and trips the over load protection on the motor. Any Ideas to help me
