Can I change the arbor on this saw to fit a 10" blade? Or find an owners manual?

5 Hello, as another owner of an RT-31, I can tell you that you cannot use a "standard" 5/8" bore 10" diameter blade in this saw as it is. Obviously, you already knew this. Your only method of doing this would be to remove the arbor without damaging it or its supporting casting, and have it machined down to 5/8" or, better still: have another arbor machined so that your 5/8" blades will fit. I don't think this would be very expensive. I've just been using regular 1" bore blades, they're usually high quality and once you have one, you'll not need to replace it for a long time. My problem is that I want to cut dados with my saw - AND the dado extensions were missing when I got the saw (these screw onto the 22mm threads to give a 1" diameter dado arbor, the standard 22mm arbor is only about 1/4" wide). These are not available from Delta anymore and if you have these parts, I'll buy them from you, you can use the money to buy a 1" blade. If you're not willing to sell, I'd send you a deposit for one, which I would have copied and subsequently returned to you. If I can't come up with arbor extensions soon, I'm going to design my own arbor extensions for 1 or 1 1/4" bore dado stacks... Posted is an RT-31 manual for models 34-887 through 34-934.
