Question About DeWalt Planer DW735
planer exhaust...

Air is coming out the dust and chip exhaust but no dust or chips It's not clogged at the pick up port. On the air duck inside there is an open and close position with the arrow on closed but I see on way of changing that. Thanks for any help offered

0 By now you probably have found your answer. If not, the "open/close" on the dust port is only for lining up the removable dust shroud for cleaning. There isn't any lever to close off the air flow. The manual for the DW735 is finally available here, good luck.

0 How do I correctly set the planer knives on the DW735? Some of the other models have 2 magnets that makes it a breeze but this model has none!
