Question About DeWalt Planer None
Replacing v-belt...

I need to replace the v-belt on this planer but cannot find any instructions for doing so. I have the belt but cannot figure out how to release the tension to get the new belt on. Does anyone have any experience with this?

2 I found an updated manual at this link. This manual unlike the original, explains the procedure.

0 I am having the same problem on the DW733 model. The belt has lasted for years. I didn't even know it had one until it broke. Cannot get the new one on. Not a chance.
