5 I had one just collecting dust because of this problem. The easy fix is to take the cover off and remove the clutch assembly. Then reassemble without the knob or clutch assembly. Use a long flat blade screwdriver to tighten or loosen the chuck. This works better than the original design. It tightens better than when it was new.
