The instructions are not very clear, skectchy, at best. Perhaps a DVD or illustrated booklet is in order. I ask several people who have miter saws how to cut a compound miter, the answer was a, I don't know how, most generaly speaking use the saw for cut off and 45 degree cuts. So, do your thing and see how you can best present a DVD with your miter. Roger
