5 I have the same problem with two batteries also , out of 16 2 are short . They will not charge , they make the charger blink rapidly..so they are duds...nfg. they will not charge.

1 Maybe I should add that I am trying to charge some non-Duracell rechargable tripe A's but I don't see why that would make a difference. I'm afraid to proceed because I've never seen the red and green flash quickly like that which to me seems to indicate danger.
