0 Yes, you can charge one pair only, as long as they are inserted in the same channel. (left side or right side) Cells are charged in pairs. There is a status light for each pair of cells. It is a 2 channel charger (left pair and right pair) Both channels operate independant of the other channel and control the charging of one pair of cells each. Each channel has its own status LED. Here are the codes: solid green=that pair of cells is fully charged solid red=that pair of cells is charging flashing red=there is a problem with one or both cells in that pair. Remove and reinstall them, making sure the polarity is correct. + to + and - to -.
