Question About Harbor Freight Tools Planer 32222
Installing new belt on planer...

I see no adjusting screw to loosen or tighten belt. Since old belt burnt up I am having a problem installing new belt . It is too stiff to stretch over pulleys. Only thought I have is to soften belt in hot/boiling water so I can stretch it over pulleys. Is this the correct way to install belt? Or is there another way? Thank you, Len
