Question About Harbor Freight Tools Saw 42818
4218 slide saw...

The electrical switch broke and the saw failed in the power on position. I unplugged the saw, removed a few screws and examined the switch. I found that the switch is reverse wired, hot is common and the low side appears to be switched. A very strange setup, I would like to change this (hazardous) wiring. Please recommend a repair
