Question About Hitachi Saw C 8FB2
stuck slide on C8FB Hitachi compound saw...

As part of a multi-saw deal I purchased this saw. Every thing else works. Turning and removing the knob does not allow the slide to move more than 1/8 inch. Any ideas?

5 Sounds like the bearings are not moving. This is a simple but tedious repair by disassembling the bearing, cleaning, and reinstall. Lv mssg if you need help with the disassembly.
