The air regulator on our compressor got broken. I ordered a new one and can't get the old one off. It appears to be glued on with some kind of a sealer or adhesive. Can anyone tell me how to remove the old regulator without damaging anything else?

0 most of the sealant adhesives can be removed by warming up the area around the connection not more than 75* Celsius. Use two wrenches one to hold back the parts need to stay in position and one to remove the regulator. Regulators are spring loaded so DO NOT open them. Remember to add sealant or Teflon to new part (on thread) if the part is not pre-sealed (white, blue or green coat on thread)
