Question About Husky Air Compressor fp202100

When my compresor charges, it makes inconsistent noises. Sometimes it's screaming loud and sometimes it's very muted and chugging. It seems to take an exceptionally long time to recover it's charge and maybe I smell sometihg overheating. Is there a filter that could need to be cleaned
