Question About King Canada Saw 8372N
king 10" sliding compound mitre saw....

I found a broken king 10" sliding compound mitre saw, and have repaired it back excellent working condition, but I've noticed that there is no locking mechanism for mitre cuts, is this normal or is there something missing from the saw? Thank you.
