My model is PK1450/laser Bj2005. The laser emitter is housed in a tube with a lens mounted on a bracket in front of the pivot assembly, and the beam comes from the front of this tube, not from behind a slot.It is not quite like the picture shown in the dwnloaded manual (for Last information update: 07 / 2007 · Ident.-No.: PKGS1450 Laser - 072007-1 / UK / IE ) I cannot find an LED suitable to mount in the emitter tube, so I may need the whole laser assembly - but not the battery box. If it is too expensive, I will carry on using the saw without the laser.
