I got the screw out. Now, how does the chuck come off the Makita 6213D? Right/Left hand srew? Is the remaining hex inside the chuck usable? What size? What is the effect on the screw-threads? Tnx, Heinz

0 The chuck (PN 193692-3) can be removed using the hex (5 mm) that is seen after removing the screw. The thread on our drill is right hand. I understand that all keyless chucks are threaded. We got this information from a Makita service center. The chuck is $36.00 plus tax and S/H.
