how to remove the keyless chuck so I can replace it.

5 I put the short end of a 3/8" Allen wrench into the chuck and tightened it. I then put the drill in reverse, braced the drill and pulled the trigger so that it turned as slowly as possible. I then whacked the Allen wrench (as it turned) with a short (18") piece of 2x4. It took three or four whacks like this. It was hard to get the drill to turn at a slow speed and I was thinking ... this was either going to work or break the drill.
