Question About Makita Drill 6011d
remove chuck...

The clutch suddenly does not work, so that the drill turns but just clicks. I need to know how to remove the chuck

5 Insert small Allen Wrench into chucks center screw inside. Turn clockwise (left hand thread) to remove center retaining screw. Place a big 3/8 Allen Wrench into chuck and clamp down tight. Place on a piece of rag on the floor and hit the Allen Wrench Fast with the hammer Counter Clockwise (normal direction) to unscrew the chuck. In this case you will have to figure out something to lock into the chuck in place of the Allen Wrench because its broken. Hope this helps.
