Question About Makita Saw ls1016l
Everything I read online about the instruction man...

Everything I read online about the instruction manual for the makita ls1016l is true. I bought one and the illustrations for locating parts suck. I need to install the blade and can't even locate the shaft lock. Do you have videos on changing this blade?

0 Alright, it took me a while to figure out but the shaft lock is a button on the opposite side of the hex bolt you loosed to remove the blade (small, black, metal button on the right side) . You have to hold it while you loosen the bolt. Also, after installing the blade make sure it dosent hit the base when the saw is in the down position (I didn't adjust the bolt that controlls the depth before my first use and got metal shavings all over)
