5 There are many reasons for this loss of pressure build loss, most common in my experience are head related. Disconnect the plastic shroud & discharge tube from bottom of head fitting, remove head bolts carefully. You will most likely find either a blown out gasket, broken inlet/outlet reed valves, pieces of those valves then tear up the piston ring & scuff up you cylinder wall something bad. Any of these conditions can be corrected by ordering the right combination of replacement parts, all available thru Gardner inc. or ereplacement.com. Make sure you l use loctite 545 or equivalent when reassembling all parts, including head bolts. Hope this gets read & helps someone.
