Question About RIDGID Battery Charger 140276002
BATTERY CHARGER...

I HAVE A DUAL PORT CHARGER AND WHEN i PLUG IT IN NONE OF THE LIGHTS COME ON BUT THE 2 ON TOP OF CHARHGER& THEY ARE FLAHHING, iAM SURE THE BATTERS ARE BAD BUT i DIDEN'T WANT TO BUY A BATTERY IF THE CHARGER IS BAD.THANKS

5 You probably know already by now, but in case not, on the Ridgid slide pack 9.6v-18v chargers, the two top red lights on mean it is ready when no packs at on it, if a battery is on it, and they stay on steady and no green lights come on, it has a problem. If they start blinking it means the batteries are either too hot, too cold or defective. If they are blinking with no pack on it it has a sensor problem. The lower green lights blink when charging and go steady when pack is charged. the fan should only come on when a pack is on it. Hope that is helpful and not too late. Troy
