I forgot to put the dust shield on before operating and now I can't get it to work. The blades won't turn.

0 The DUST Guard presses down on the Blade Drum Lock and releases it when it is installed. To get the blades to turn with the guard removed, press down on the thin orange metal lever located approx. an inch infront of the blade drum on the LEFT side.
