the adjustment ring is immovable. I have all the ...

the adjustment ring is immovable. I have all the locking mechanisms unlocked and I cannot get the black depth adjustment ring to turn at all. I cannot figure out what the problem is. It is almost brand new and I have used it only a couple of times.
