I am trying to replace the blade for the first time. Instructions say the spring will permit lowering the upper wheel so that the new blade can be installed. The upper wheel does not move, up or down.

0 The manual says the spring on the upper wheel allows the wheel to be pulled down for easier removal (installation?) of the blade. The only spring I see is the one associated with the blade tension knob. I have turned this knob counterclockwise until the entire knob and spring is in danger of falling off. I am still unable to pull the upper wheel down enough to slip a new blade in place. Is there another spring?
