Question About Schumacher Battery Charger 612A-PE
612A-PE 6/12 volt charger...

the wires that were soldered to the plate in back of charger have come off.can i fasten them directly to the metal plate and not use the small barrel shaped pcs that were between the wire and the plate

5 No. Those little barrel pieces are diodes... These are what changes the AC power to DC power. Hooking the wires directly to the plate would create a dead short that would very dangerous...
