Question About Schumacher Battery Charger SE 60
Please help find the manual for this Schumacher Battery Charger...

Must have lost the directions since I last used it. It is working well on a battery in a car that had not been run for a while, but I forgot how to test the battery charge or the alternator function. This charger is not on the list on the web site. It is for 2, 10 and 50 amps, I believe.

5 I found the manual at batterychargers.com. Go to the manual section and type in 'SF-60'. It's the French version of the charger, but the English version of the manual is the first six pages. SF-60 is the same as SE-60.

5 The .3 amp trickle charge is nothing more then a maintainer charge. It is supposed to hold the battery at the stage it is. I constantly use mine on the HOLD charge setting during the winter months for my tractor. It helps to hold the charge of the battery during cold weather and keep the plates somewhat active. My tractor uses a small garden tractor battery and it works fine for it.

0 I am yet another guy looking for the manual for the model SE-60. I bought mine at a garage sale. Looks like it is very useful. I really need to know how to use it to TEST BATTERIES. I think I can figure out the charging functions. - John from Ann Arbor, Michigan-
