Question About Sears Router 315.175100
The depth adjustment ring won't turn on my Sears...

I have the same problem as the other person using this site. There seems to be a problem with these routers, mine has been used 3 times. I am so taken back with the support and the router, I will not buy another one.

0 A friend repaired my stuck adjustment ring, no easy task. He found the adjustment ring nylon had adhered to the aluminum body of the router, caused by motor heat. He smoothed out the inside of the ajustment ring and hand sanded the aluminum smooth. If the router adjustment sticks again, it will be replaced with another model and or probably brand. This reapir took almost a day to accomplish due to the amount of tear down involved. .
