Question About Skil Saw 3305-01
blade guard assembly...

I recently purchased this skil table saw. I am having a problem attaching the blade guard assembly to the saw. It slides on a metal peg on the back of the saw. I don't see anyway to permanently attach it. It is very wobbly. I know there has to be away to attach it firmly. Please help. Thanks

0 On my Skil Saw, there is a threaded hole for bolt on the metal peg that you mentioned. In a separate bag, there was a bolt and lock washer that fit through the back of the guard assembly that then screwed into the peg. Made a reasonably tight connection and seems to work fine. Does that help?

0 I just assembled the same model saw. There is a bolt and lock washer in a bag with the handle for the control wheel. It fits throuth the back of the guard assembly and screws into the peg.
