Making Calls From Datebook Reminders
To call a number:
ᮣ Press O.
– or –
Press M and then select
Call # in Event.
To make Direct Connect calls or Talkgroup calls:
ᮣ Press the Direct Connect button.
To send a Call Alert:
ᮣ Press M and select Alert # in Event.
Customizing Datebook Setup
To access Datebook set up options:
1. Select M > Datebook.
2. Press M.
3. Select Setup.
You can view or change these options:
ⅷ Start View — sets Datebook to start in day view, week
view, or month view when you access Datebook.
ⅷ Daily Begin — sets the beginning of your day. This is
the earliest time of day displayed in week view, if you
have a twelve-hour day view.
ⅷ Delete After — sets the amount of time Datebook waits
to delete an event after it occurs.
ⅷ Time Shift — lets you shift the times of all Datebook
events. This is useful if you are traveling to a different
time zone.
ⅷ Alert Timeout — sets the amount of time a tone
continues to sound when you receive a message
notification, Call Alert, or Datebook reminder.
ⅷ Clock — controls whether the time and date appear in
standby mode; sets time and date format; sets year.
