5. Select adhesive cartridge and place on a
bench or flat work surface with the threaded
nozzle pointing upward.
6. Place a punch or similar tool into the nozzle
portion of the cartridge as shown. Tap the
punch handle with a hammer, mallet or
similar object until the aluminum seal has
been pierced.

IMPORTANT:
Assuring
disposable nozzle is tight and
flush with cartridge will reduce
adhesive build-up in the
applicator.

Avoid contact with top surface
and metal heating chambers of
preheater during use and hot
adhesive cartridges and
adhesive.
May cause burns.

Wear heat
resistant gloves and safety
glasses when using.

7. Select and attach a disposable nozzle (A) provided with the 3M™
Scotch-Weld™ Polyurethane Reactive (PUR) Easy 250 Adhesive onto
the cartridge by turning clockwise until the nozzle base is tight or flush
with the cartridge using supplied plastic wrench (B) to aid tightening.
