SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES
1. WARNING! Do not mount the Halogen Light on or in any residential structure. Mounting
in such a location creates a fire hazard that can result in property damage, severe personal
injury, and/or death.
2. ALWAYS point the Light away from the wall, whether the unit is in use or not. If the
light is accidentally pointed at the wall while it is on or while it is still hot when turned off, a
fire may result.
3. Keep all flammable materials and wall hangings at least 10 feet from the mounting
location.
4. Make sure to turn off the Halogen Light and unplug the unit from its electrical outlet
when unattended.
5. Immediately upon turning on the Halogen Light, the Halogen Bulb become VERY
hot. While operating the unit, do not touch the Halogen Bulb, or grid.
6. Avoid excessive UV radiation. Should your skin begin to feel hot while operating the
Halogen Light, immediately remove yourself from the unit’s light rays.
7. Avoid serious eye injury. Do not look directly into the Halogen Bulb when operating this
product. Always wear ANSI approved safety goggles when working with tools and
equipment.
8. Do not touch the Halogen Bulb at any time. Oil from skin will drastically shorten the
bulb’s life-span if not cleaned (with rubbing alcohol) before use. Handle with a soft, clean
cloth instead.
9. Do not operate the Light with a missing or damaged Lens or Grid.
10. Do not operate the Halogen Light with the Grid open.
11. Turn off the Halogen Light, unplug its Power Cord from its 120 volt, grounded,
electrical outlet, and allow it to completely cool down prior to performing any
inspection, maintenance, or cleaning on the unit.
12. After its use, make sure to allow the Light to completely cool down before storing the
unit.
13. Do not obstruct walkways or common areas with the cord.
14. The Light is weatherproof but not waterproof. Do not submerge the Light in water.
