Removal
1. Remove Pinion Assembly/Rotor/Field/Pinion/
Clutch, Clamp and Clutch Housing,asin-
stru cted in Manual 309890.
2. Fig. 4. Disc onnect all necessa ry wiring.
3. Fig. 5. Remove tw o locknuts (72) and screws
(131) from base of engine.
4. Lift engine carefu lly and place on work bench.
NOTE: All serv ice to the engine mu st be perform ed by
an authorized HONDA dealer.

Installation
1. Lift engine carefu lly and place on cart.
2. Fig. 5. In stall two screws (131) in base of engine
and secure with lock nuts (72). Tor que to 200 in-lb
(22.6 NSm).
3. Fig. 4. Connect all necessary wiring.
